Audiology Externship Opportunity

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), the nation's largest ENT practice with 80 locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Texas, and Pennsylvania, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Audiology Externs to join our team. We offer a comprehensive, hands-on externship experience in a collaborative environment alongside experienced audiologists, renowned otolaryngologists, and otologists.

Compensation: $21.64/hr

Clinical Experience

• Comprehensive diagnostic audiological testing for pediatrics and adults
• Otoacoustic Emissions (OAEs)
• Vestibular testing (VNG)
• Electrocochleography (ECochG)
• Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, follow-ups, and troubleshooting with multiple manufacturers
• Ear plug fitting and dispensing
• Auditory osseointegrated device fitting and dispensing (availability varies by location)
• Patient rapport-building, history-gathering, and counseling across all service areas

Extern Curriculum & Educational Support

• Onsite trainings with leading hearing aid manufacturers
• Dedicated educational sessions on VNG, ABR, and ECochG
• Hearing aid acceptance and counseling training
• Enrichment and professional development activities
• Invitations to all departmental audiologist trainings and events
• Regular check-ins with the audiology management team to support your clinical and educational goals

Placement & Compensation

Externs will be primarily placed at one or two offices selected to maximize their learning experience. Placement decisions take both educational value and extern preferences into consideration.

This is a paid externship ($21.64/hr) with the potential for full-time employment as an audiologist upon licensure.
