Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observational methodologies.
• Design individualized treatment plans tailored to meet immediate objectives while considering overarching communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions focused on enhancing communication, language clarity, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing proficiency.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families, to develop seamless care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to ensure continuity and support outside of therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations, reinforcing a consistent approach to care throughout the treatment continuum.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational protocols.
• Commit to ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within a month of commencing employment.
