Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our civil litigation firm in Las Vegas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of legal assistant experience, with a strong background in defense work. Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management for civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Maintain and organize case files, documents, and correspondence.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and court appearances.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during trials as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as billing, timekeeping, and file management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in civil litigation with a focus on defense work.
• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
