Facility: Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park Location: Maitland, Florida Position: Director of Nursing (DON) Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 About The Role Rehabilitation Center of Winter Park is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Nursing Department. This vital leadership role is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and the professional development of our nursing team. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight for all daily Nursing Department operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Develop, implement, and routinely update nursing policies and procedures. Participate actively in the facility’s Quality Assurance Program to uphold exceptional standards of resident care. Assist with regulatory surveys and inspections. Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance, resident care, and adherence to facility standards. Address and resolve concerns or grievances from residents, families, and nursing staff. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing leadership experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
