Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support the daily operations of our Houston, TX office. The Logistics Coordinator will assist the Logistics Manager with the coordination and execution of supply chain activities to ensure the timely delivery of goods and materials for the Industrial Gases business division. This role requires strong attention to detail and a flexible schedule that may sometimes include nights and weekends. The position is nonexempt and subject to overtime pay. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist with shipping schedules and inventory tracking. Work closely with vendors and internal teams to maintain efficient logistics operations. Coordinate KAG activities, including daily phone communication, logistics coordination, and depressurization instructions. Arrange vessels based on the proposed schedule from the parent company in Japan. Prepare export documents and send invoices and customs-broker documents, including DG and filling-source documents, to Japan. Enter supplier invoices in SAP. Update helium system data, including movements and maintenance. Update the container location sheet. Communicate with suppliers, shipping lines, and Japan. Qualifications Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Dedication to efficient operations. Ability to train and learn new skills and operating systems. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Experience with SAP preferred. Knowledge of helium liquid ISO tanks is a plus.
