Pay: $22.00$24.00 per hour | Weekly Pay.

Schedule: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM.

Join a Growing Manufacturing Team:

Openwork is seeking an experienced Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Coordinator for a manufacturing facility in Houston, TX. This hands-on role coordinates daily shipping, receiving, freight, inventory, and material movement while ensuring accurate and timely operations. We're looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of shipping and receiving activities.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and documentation.
• Prepare outbound shipments, labels, paperwork, and carrier schedules.
• Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound freight with carriers, brokers, suppliers, and customers.
• Obtain freight quotes and select transportation providers based on cost, service, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate LTL, truckload, parcel, and expedited shipments.
• Track shipments and address delays or discrepancies.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Complete ERP transactions for receipts, shipments, transfers, and material movements.
• Support inventory counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Issue materials to production and other departments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support improvements to warehouse and logistics processes.

What We're Looking For:

• 35 years of shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse, or materials experience in manufacturing.
• Experience coordinating freight carriers, brokers, and transportation providers.
• Knowledge of LTL, truckload, parcel, and expedited shipping.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory transactions.
• Epicor experience is a plus.
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook skills.
• Forklift experience and ability to become certified.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and warehouse environment that is not climate controlled.
• Frequent interaction with trucks, carriers, and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Hearing protection requirements may apply.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
