Logistics CoordinatorLocation: Near Hobby Airport, Houston, TXPay: $16.50–$20.00 per hourSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PMOpenwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring a Logistics Coordinator for a busy shipping and logistics operation near Hobby Airport.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate shipping and transportation arrangements for pickups and deliveriesCommunicate with customers, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure shipments are handled efficientlyCollect, enter, and maintain accurate shipping and logistics dataOrganize files, shipping documents, and other recordsProvide clerical and administrative support for daily shipping operationsSpend approximately 65% of the day performing desk/clerical dutiesSpend approximately 35% of the day performing hands-on tasks, including packaging and preparing shipmentsAssist with coordinating the movement and preparation of outgoing shipmentsMaintain an organized and accurate work areaQualificationsPrevious clerical shipping or logistics experience preferredStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenOrganized and detail-orientedComfortable handling data collection, filing, and documentationAbility to coordinate transportation arrangements for pickups and deliveriesComfortable balancing office/desk work with hands-on packaging dutiesReliable, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentWhy Openwork?Openwork has 50+ years of experience connecting talented people with great employers.
