Job Summary Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the leading cloud provider of virtualized infrastructure, storage, networking, messaging, and many other services worldwide. The AWS Data Center Security team is searching for a program manager in the Georgia/Atlanta area to lead security and security-systems projects and programs in the data center environment. The candidate will manage complex, interdependent projects with regional impact, ensuring that each AWS data center meets the company’s high standards for physical security. Key Job Responsibilities Project Management for physical security systems related to new construction, expansion, and retrofit projects. Preparation of physical security project lifecycle management including bid packages, specifications, drawings, code compliance, vendor management, budget, change orders, and close‑out documentation. Keep contemporary knowledge of emerging physical security technologies to assess their applicability within the AWS program. Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to leadership for strategic decisions regarding technology and procedure. Balance performance metrics such as vendor service delivery, spend vs. budget variance, cost reduction goals, defect rates, and program analysis. Manage vendors for on‑boarding, RFQ, bid, contract, QA/QC, and support processes. Effectively manage multi‑million dollar budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives. Collaborate across teams and provide support for global initiatives. Basic Qualifications Experience working on physical security design and implementation of Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems. Preferred Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical individuals regarding physical security standards and system designs. Experience delivering physical security projects or programs within an enterprise setting. Background in Physical Security Design, Security Systems Deployment, Physical Security Operations, Security Architecture, or Construction Management. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or physical security designs. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority, leading cross‑functional teams across geographies. Certifications: PSP, CPP, PMP; training in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED); certification or experience with Lenel Access Control System. Compensation and Benefits USA, GA, ATLANTA – Salary range: $80,000.00 – $140,000.00 USD annually. Compensation includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) based on experience, qualifications, and location.
