Shipping/Receiving Associate

Warehouse Operations Job

Day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping & communicate with supervisor.

Correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, status updates, etc.

Unload, uncrate, or unpack materials and transport to designated inventory location or proper disposal area using forklift or by hand as appropriate.

Perform computer transactions, including input of material receipts, cycle counts, stock adjustments, etc.

Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols.

Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness.

Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles and equipment.

Complete all required safety training including working at heights.

Complete all required training for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation.

2-3-year experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced.

A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment.

Ability to communicate information (in small groups) to other employees.

Must be prepared to work extra overtime hours when required.

Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving forms & terminology (BOL, Packing Slip, COO, COC, etc.)

Good legible penmanship

Previous forklift experience

Able to lift up to 50lbs.

Experience with MS Word / Excel / Outlook

Excellent written and verbal communication

Experience with ERP systems (SAP, EPICOR, ORACLE)
