Work Environment

You will work in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the vibrant community of Linden, NJ. Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and resources designed to offer the best possible care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured yet supportive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their individual needs and establish treatment goals.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans that utilize sound clinical judgment and best practices in physical therapy.
• Manage a caseload of patients, efficiently providing care to approximately one patient per hour.
• Provide targeted interventions aimed at improving patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient care.
• Continuously assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, adjust therapies as necessary, and communicate progress to both patients and referring physicians.
• Maintain precise documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions in an outpatient environment. You will work closely with individuals seeking rehabilitative care to regain their physical independence following surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain issues. Our goal is to empower clients through education and support, ensuring they are active participants in their own recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing physical therapy services, emphasizing orthopedic outpatient care.
• A clean professional record with no active disciplinary measures against your license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation environment.
• Knowledge of electronic health record systems for documentation and treatment planning.
• Experience with patient education and community health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
