Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center in Avenel, NJ offers an onsite, full-time role with a standard weekly schedule of 40 hours, including variable weekend shifts as necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations, establish evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans based on individuals' specific functional limitations.
• Provide expert consultation to healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care throughout their continuum of rehabilitation.
• Implement treatment approaches and regularly re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to maximize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions accurately, ensuring all billing codes and service charges are submitted in compliance with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physicians and care coordinators, to facilitate streamlined care and communication for our patients.
• Participate in community outreach and quality improvement initiatives, contributing to program development and mentoring staff, students, and support personnel.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through self-study, in-service training, and attending education programs to enhance clinical skills.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant licensure requirements and regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, post-traumatic injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Your role is crucial in tailoring therapy interventions that not only address physical rehabilitation but also support patients' emotional and psychological well-being as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid New Jersey state license in Physical Therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with proficiency in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to connect meaningfully with patients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring adherence to our customer service standards.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
