Product Actualization Analyst Location: Houston, TX Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote (work-from-home day is flexible) Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension and possible conversion to full-time employee if a position opens up) Pay Rate: $40.00$45.00 / Hour (USD) Shift / Schedule: Monday-Friday, flexible hours (7:00 AM-4:00 PM, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, or 8:30 AM-5:30 PM), adjustable as needed Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Job Summary The Product Actualization Analyst supports business units with monthly closing activities, including recording actual results and accruals, and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions. This role supports Commercial operations and requires a high level of interaction with Commercial product schedulers, peers in Billing, Refinery Analysts, Inventory & Exchange Analysts, the Master Data Group, and the Commercial Integration Group. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Recording and initiating product purchases and sales (both third-party and intercompany) in SAP S4 using pipeline tickets and custody transfer documentation. Managing and monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) with offshore teams to ensure timely and accurate data processing. Performing monthly closing activities, including booking accruals and actuals, and verifying accuracy of entries. Applying detailed expertise in SAP S4 and related systems to support the end-to-end deal-to-dollar process. Resolving volume discrepancies related to inventory reconciliation and invoice processing. Assisting the Supervisor with audit-related activities, including documentation gathering and data validation. Collaborating with Schedulers and Traders to resolve issues and maintain consistency in product actualization. Setting and managing goals to meet daily and monthly deadlines defined by management. Supporting team projects and initiatives as needed. Required Skills Advanced Excel skills: V-lookup (X-lookup), creating pivot tables, creating graphs from pivot tables; Excel testing required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Eagerness to learn new concepts. Self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset. Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude. Ability to lead others without direct authority. Ability to build relationships and act as a resource for internal and external business partners. Preferred Skills Proficient in SAP/SAP S4 (nice to have, but can be trained on SAP). Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Education Requirements Bachelor's degree required. Accounting or finance degree preferred. Required Experience Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Nice-to-Have Experience Experience in the Oil & Gas industry (helpful, but not a deal breaker). Recent college graduate with an accounting or finance degree will be considered.
