Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with endoscopy experience to join our team in a fast-paced outpatient surgery and endoscopy environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong perioperative skills and be comfortable with pre-operative and PACU phase II workflows.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 4 x 10s, Monday - Friday
• Rotating day off based on schedule
• Start time between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM (subject to change based on case volume)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes.
• Manage pre-operative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) nursing workflows.
• Administer moderate sedation and comfort measures for patients.
• Assist in the rapid turnover of patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications:

• Current CA Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
• 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Experience with outpatient surgery and perioperative care is strongly preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including pre-operative open heart patients and total joint patients.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with rapid patient turnover.
• Familiarity with moderate sedation protocols is a plus.
