Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,363–$2,530 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4x10-hour days (day shift) Start date: 09/28/2026 Setting: outpatient-oriented perioperative care in a short-term acute care hospital Responsibilities Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient procedures, following established standards and the nursing process Collect and assess relevant health data; analyze information to determine care needs and risk factors Develop and implement a care plan, administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust care as needed Coordinate care with preop, intraoperative, and PACU Phase II workflows; support endoscopy cases and rapid turnover environments Educate patients and families, provide health information, and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to promote a safe, healing environment and quality outcomes; delegate appropriately to staff as applicable Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EPIC), ensuring continuity of care across shifts Requirements Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license valid in the state of practice; CPR/BLS required; Basic Life Support (BLS) required by facility policy; PALS or ARC-PALS required; ACLS or ARC-ALS required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in outpatient, perioperative, or similar field; strong preference for outpatient surgery and endoscopy backgrounds; EPIC EMR experience preferred Clinical competencies: Endoscopy experience required; comfortable with preop and PACU Phase II workflows; capable of moderate sedation management and rapid patient turnover Special requirements: CA RN license; ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient surgery/endoscopy environment; open heart and total joint patient experience considered a plus Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated assignment support Fast credentialing process #J-18808-Ljbffr
