Job Description The Project Controller will report into senior finance leadership and serve as a key financial partner to project teams, ensuring strong financial controls and project profitability across a portfolio of major construction projects. Lead all project financial administration and fiscal management activities. Oversee project forecasting, financial reporting, and closing processes. Conduct risk and opportunity analysis to identify potential project impacts and improve financial outcomes. Act as an independent financial advisor during project forecast reviews and planning meetings. Monitor key project performance indicators and proactively communicate financial risks and opportunities to leadership. Review and evaluate change management activities for financial implications and consistency. Support, mentor, and develop junior accounting and project finance professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment. The Successful Applicant For the Project Controller we are seeking: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Approximately 8+ years of progressive experience in project accounting, construction accounting, project controls, or related finance functions. Experience supporting large-scale construction, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based environments. Strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, cost controls, revenue recognition, and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to identify financial risks, recommend solutions, and influence project decision-making. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to coach, develop, and support team members. Experience working with project management, construction management, or ERP platforms preferred.
