Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a premier, globally recognized manufacturing corporation with billions in annual revenue to find a high-caliber Senior Accountant. This role offers a unique opportunity to join an elite finance team managing complex global operations. As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key aspects of the general ledger, drive the month-end close process, ensure compliance with multi-jurisdictional accounting standards, and provide critical financial analysis that supports strategic corporate initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Closing & Reporting: Lead complex month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities for assigned global entities, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to deadlines. General Ledger Management: Prepare and review high-volume journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, foreign currency translations, and complex balance sheet reconciliations. Global Compliance: Ensure financial reporting aligns with US GAAP and coordinate with international teams to support local statutory reporting and compliance requirements. Internal Controls & Audit: Maintain and enforce a robust internal control environment (SOX compliance). Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external auditors. Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements within the ERP system to streamline reporting, reduce close cycle times, and automate manual workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with plant controllers, supply chain, and corporate finance teams to analyze inventory valuation, variances, and capital expenditures (CapEx). Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Certification: CPA or progression toward a CPA license is highly preferred. Experience: 4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally blending Public Accounting (Big 4 or regional) with corporate accounting within a large, multi-entity manufacturing or industrial environment. Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise with tier-1 ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling). Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, and foreign currency accounting. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and a sharp eye for detail. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to stakeholders across different regions and business units. #J-18808-Ljbffr
