Dental Assistant Advanced Dental Specialists - Waukesha is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our specialty practice team. We are looking for a motivated, professional, and patient-focused individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care and creating a positive experience for every patient. This position supports our Endodontic team. Previous endodontic experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train an experienced Dental Assistant who is eager to learn and grow within a specialty practice. Schedule Thursday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM Approximately 6 hours per week No evenings or weekends Compensation $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience Qualifications Dental Assisting experience required Endodontic experience preferred, but not required Experience using Dentrix preferred Digital dental x-ray experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to work collaboratively in a specialty practice environment We value team members who take initiative, maintain a positive attitude, and are committed to delivering outstanding clinical support and patient care. Cultural Preview of the Office/Team Goal-oriented Professional Results-oriented Minimum Qualifications Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skills The position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards. Preferred Experience 1+ years of experience in a dental setting Dentrix or other dental software experience Dental assisting school certification Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
