Overview

Step into a pivotal coordination role that connects customer demand with global supply. As our International Sourcing Coordinator, you’ll oversee customer accounts and keep production humming by balancing purchase orders, inventory targets, and on‑time delivery of custom metal and plastic parts sourced from overseas partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and nurture assigned customer accounts, serving as the main point of contact.
• Monitor stock levels and update records to ensure availability and accuracy.
• Create and release purchase orders aligned to customer requirements and demand forecasts.
• Drive day‑to‑day communication with international suppliers to confirm pricing, lead times, and shipment status.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer questions, escalating as needed.
• Proactively share status updates so customers are informed of changes and milestones.
• Guide new projects from order placement through delivery, coordinating timelines and deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal teams daily (logistics, engineering, sales, and finance) to remove roadblocks.
• Arrange and track shipments from vendor to customer, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Analyze demand, open orders, and on‑hand inventory to determine optimal purchasing actions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of purchasing experience within manufacturing or distribution/inventory environments.
• Background working with overseas vendors strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with OEM metal and/or plastic components and the ability to interpret blueprints preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• ERP experience is required; Oracle NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Client‑facing rapport and relationship‑building ability.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail‑driven, deadline‑focused, and highly organized; able to work independently.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving mindset.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
