Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for up to 7 patients each day to assess their physical condition and needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and the patients' specific challenges.
• Utilize various rehabilitation techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to facilitate healing.
• Educate patients on appropriate exercises, modifications, and lifestyle strategies to ensure sustained progress and prevent re-injury.
• Document patient progress accurately and effectively, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to maximize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient demographic includes a wide range of ages and physical abilities, providing you with diverse clinical experiences to enhance your therapeutic skills and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; additional certification (Master's or Doctorate) preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Compensation and Benefits
