We're seeking dedicated Special Education professionals for two exciting assignments—your expertise can make a meaningful difference.

Available Opportunities:

• Learning Services role at Northglenn Middle School (9/23-11/11): Engage with a mild-moderate caseload, focusing on supporting diverse learners over a 7-week period.
• Full-time split SSN Teacher (.5) and Learning Specialist (.5) at Rocky Top Middle School (ASAP – Winter Break): Serve students with significant support needs as well as those requiring mild/moderate accommodations. Also open to 0.5 FTE SSN-only specialists.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) endorsement required.
• Recent, relevant experience in special education at the middle school level preferred.
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, adaptive classroom environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary school teams and families.
• Ready to meet local fingerprinting and credentialing requirements promptly.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instructional strategies tailored to each student’s IEP.
• Assess, document, and report student progress using data-driven methods.
• Adapt curriculum and implement accommodations for learners with mild/moderate or significant needs.
• Communicate regularly with families, supporting holistic student outcomes.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with specialists, paraprofessionals, and administrators.

These are on-site roles with a week-day schedule of 37.5 hours/week and assignment to one or two schools, depending on placement.
