About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join a growing technology services organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes ownership of financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and process improvements. You will work closely with finance leadership while supporting the daily accounting operations that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Prepare and review internal financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Research accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Participate in internal and external audits, tax reporting, and compliance activities.
• Assist with capital asset accounting and financial record maintenance.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Cross-train with other accounting functions and provide backup support as needed.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to support accounting operations.

Qualifications
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience with ERP accounting systems (NetSuite preferred).
• Experience supporting payroll accounting functions.
• Experience participating in financial audits and tax reporting.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Experience working in a technology, professional services, or consulting environment.
