Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and develop personalized therapy strategies aimed at helping them achieve their functional objectives.
• Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Employ established practices to bolster patients' motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic techniques that facilitate continuity of care at home.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Monitor patient outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed to keep them on track.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or post-graduate certifications encouraged and supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
