Job Responsibilities

• Customized Treatment Strategies: Assess patient needs and formulate tailored therapy plans that assist in achieving their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patients' physical skills, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks.
• Collaborative Care: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff for integrated, comprehensive care.
• Patient and Caregiver Education: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapeutic techniques for continued progress outside the clinical setting.
• Progress Monitoring: Document and track clinical progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to keep patients moving forward.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouraged to pursue continuing education and post-graduate certifications.

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required.
