As part of our team, you will work closely with physicians, occupational therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, fostering an integrated approach to patient care that reflects our commitment to enhancing health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to evaluate the physical condition of individuals seeking rehabilitation services.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education protocols.
• Treat an average of three adult patients per hour, focusing primarily on individuals aged 40-65 with diverse orthopedic conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical judgment to achieve optimum patient outcomes and ensure ongoing progress.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress using CureMD EMR, contributing to cohesive care coordination.
• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver holistic care that aligns with patients' medical needs, fostering positive relationships with referring physicians and other team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily include adults, particularly those navigating recovery from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and degenerative conditions. Your role will be instrumental in implementing strategies that not only improve physical functionality but also empower patients to take charge of their health and rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one is essential for this position.
• Demonstrated strong clinical judgment and exceptional communication skills are crucial for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• While two years of relevant clinical experience is required, outpatient experience is beneficial but not mandatory. A willingness to learn and adapt is highly valued.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting will be considered an asset and may facilitate smoother integration into our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 110,000 to 125,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
