Junior Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities: Manage, configure, maintain, and optimize organizational databases to ensure integrity, availability, and security. Oversee user access, enforce data privacy policies, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and automate scheduled database tasks. Develop and maintain business intelligence reports and electronic storage solutions for records retention. Support a training and development environment for testing and backup purposes. Collaborate with departments to assess data needs and implement effective database solutions. Document and maintain system policies, procedures, access controls, and training resources. Assign database training as needed. Respond to database-related support requests and assist with other network or system tasks as needed. Proficiency in SQL and related programming languages for data querying and management. Experience in data modeling and database design. 3-5 years of system development experience. Hands-on experience with ERP systems required; familiarity with Global Shop Solutions is a plus. Demonstrated ability to lead and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and business acumen. Experience with DCAA and DCMA audits is a plus. High standards of professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
