Our client is seeking a hands-on Tax Counsel candidate.
Some duties are as follows:Structured and implemented numerous tax planning transactions including: spinning off business segments to public shareholders, reorganizing corporations between consolidated groups and rationalizing legal entities
- Performed and managed a wide range of tax attribute studies for both domestic and foreign entities
- Review contracts for Tax ramifications
- See how it affects our International divisions
- Managed FIRPTA compliance related to tax planning transactions, i.e., completed testing and filings
- Conducted diligence and prepared statements for SOx compliance
- Drafted internal tax memos on a wide range of tax issues including corporate reorganizations, worthless stock deductions and accounting periods
- Involved with all aspects of tax research and planning (only domestic). Further deatils furnished upon request..
