This contract position centers around providing essential speech and language services within a supportive school setting near West Bloomfield, MI. Whether you are an SLP holding your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or a Clinical Fellow (CFY), your expertise will be valued as you engage with a manageable caseload averaging 40-50 students.

Candidates can look forward to a consistent 40-hour workweek, primarily based in a single building to promote continuity in student relationships. Flexibility is available if you prefer, or if needs arise, to split your week between two school buildings—ensuring comprehensive support for all students. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and Clinical Fellows will receive the benefit of mentorship from an experienced SLP-CCC professional to nurture their growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current or pending state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or CFY)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting elementary-aged learners
• Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable adapting to the needs of a shared caseload if required
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive environment for students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship if serving in a CCC role with a CFY mentee
