Operations Analyst

Job Title: Process Improvement & Operations Analyst Location: Hybrid – Phoenix, AZ Contract duration: 4 month contract with potential to extend or convert Job Summary: We are seeking a curious, analytical, and proactive problem solver to identify opportunities for improving processes and operational efficiency. This role will focus on recognizing trends, investigating recurring issues, determining root causes, and developing sustainable solutions that reduce unnecessary work. The ideal candidate naturally asks “why?” , takes ownership of problems, and looks for better, more efficient ways to accomplish tasks. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys investigating problems, working through ambiguity, and creating meaningful process improvements. Responsibilities Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Investigate problems and determine root causes. Analyze operational data, reports, tickets, and workflows to identify inefficiencies. Research and resolve complex or unfamiliar issues. Develop and implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurring problems. Document findings, recommendations, procedures, and process changes. Collaborate with internal teams and business partners to streamline processes. Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve existing workflows. Take ownership of issues from investigation through resolution. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to relevant stakeholders. Work independently when faced with unfamiliar problems or limited direction. Requirements Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify patterns, trends, and recurring issues. Demonstrated curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset. Strong communication and documentation skills. Self-motivated and proactive approach to work. Ability to take ownership and follow issues through resolution. Comfortable researching and troubleshooting unfamiliar problems. Ability to work independently and effectively through ambiguity. Experience with process improvement, operational support, ticket analysis, workflow analysis, or a related field is preferred. SQL experience is preferred but not required.
