Position Summary The University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program is inviting applications for a Clinical Faculty member (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, fixed‑term) in the Department of Psychiatry, UNC School of Medicine. Positions are available at locations across North Carolina: Asheville, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Raleigh, and Wilmington. Responsibilities Maintain a diagnostic and treatment caseload of autistic clients across the lifespan. Supervise trainees and provide consultation, training, and mentorship to professionals locally, nationally, and internationally. Engage in research activities related to autism, including clinical trials, data evaluation, and independent projects. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Completed accredited PhD or PsyD in a clinical, school, or other mental‑health doctoral program. Clinical training and experience in assessment and treatment of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Licensed or license‑eligible as a Psychologist, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or related clinical discipline in North Carolina within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an academic medical setting or high‑performing clinical team.
