Operations Coordinator

*Operations Coordinator (OnSite)* *Location:* Syracuse, NY (Onsite)
*Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Occasional rotating weekend coverage (1-2 hours) once fully trained
*Pay Rate*: $52-62,000 USD/yearly (Depending on relevant experience)
*About the Role* We are seeking an *entry-level Operations Coordinator* to support daily shipment and delivery operations. This is a fastpaced, onsite role that works closely with Customer Service and carrier partners to ensure accurate, timely shipments and quick resolution of issues.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Review delivery orders and shipment statuses from the previous day
* Ensure all scheduled pickups are completed successfully
* Verify account and billing information for accuracy
* Review and prepare shipments for upcoming delivery days
* Confirm shipments are dispatched correctly and on schedule
* Act as a liaison between internal Customer Service teams and external carriers
* Communicate shipment updates and respond to carrier inquiries
* Troubleshoot and resolve shipment issues in real time
* Provide timely updates to Customer Service regarding carrier questions or concerns
*Required Qualifications*
* At least *1 year of customer service experience*
* 1-2 years of LTL (Less-than-truckload) experience (preferred)
* *Proficiency in Microsoft Office*, especially Excel
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
* Problemsolving mindset with high attention to detail
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience in *logistics, transportation, or 3PL environments* is a strong plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Syracuse, NY.
*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.64 - $26.45/hr.
