A school district near San Ysidro, CA is seeking dedicated and credentialed RSP (Resource Specialist Program) Teachers to join their special education team and begin making an immediate impact. This opportunity provides an extended contract through June 19, 2027, allowing you to build lasting relationships and foster ongoing student growth.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid and active Special Education teaching credential—ready for an immediate start
- Proven experience working with students who require mild to moderate support (M/M)
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners
- Experience managing caseloads of similar size (approx. 32 students)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students on your caseload, supporting their academic and social-emotional growth
- Implement and monitor IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success
- Employ data-driven strategies to track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that values diversity and inclusion
- Participate in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities
