Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ growth as a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) Teacher in a dynamic educational environment. With positions available for immediate start, you will play a vital part in shaping positive learning experiences for mild-to-moderate (M/M) special education students. The contract runs through June 19, 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a long-lasting impact.
In this role, you’ll provide support for approximately 32 students, collaborating with general education teachers and using adaptive strategies to help each learner reach their full potential. Your commitment to fostering inclusivity will help bridge gaps and create success stories every day.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and current Special Education Teacher credentials, fully cleared and ready to begin
- Experience supporting students in RSP or special education settings, particularly with mild-to-moderate needs
- Deep knowledge of IEP processes and accommodations
- Strong collaboration skills for partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- An adaptable mindset and excellent communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction and support to assigned caseload of around 32 students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and implement specialized interventions
- Regularly communicate with staff and families regarding student progress
- Work 6.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours weekly
- Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with educational standards
