This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.What You'll Get To Do:The selected individual will provide SW development for the Digital Ecosystem EMAS organization and do the following:Design and define system architecture for new or existing software productsDevelop software in an agile development environmentDesign automated test procedures for software verification activitiesCollaborate with the lead software engineer and a team of software engineers to establish and develop automated toolsDevelop Software Test Plans and Procedures for team software productsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Sr Principal Software Engineer: 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degreeUS Citizenship with Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years.Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).Experience with Agile and working in a cross-function Scrum team.Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and ConfluenceExperience developing React applications and Jest testing frameworkExperience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Familiar with Software Development PlansFamiliar with Software Engineering best practicesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)At least 3+ years experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule with proven resultsProficient with DOORS, Cameo with the ability to develop and decompose system requirementsFamiliarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) languages (SysML/UML) and concepts, Node.jsAbility to evaluate risks and tradeoffs and present solution options to managementExperience interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementationFamiliar with Systems Engineering processesAbility to provide and implement solutions to advanced problems which require ingenuity and innovationExperience demonstrating excellent technical leadership, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills, effectively engaging with various stakeholdersCapable of working with minimal direction, independently determines and develops technical objectives of assignments, and presents work upon completion for high level review#SentinelSoftwarePrimary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
