Business Development Director (US) Work model

Infinum, Inc.

We are looking for a US-based Business Development Director with a comprehensive understanding of the digital agency landscape to lead our expansion in the US market, open new accounts, and drive revenue. At Infinum, we don’t just build apps; we build the digital products that define how people live, work, and communicate. We are a global powerhouse of 350+ designers and engineers who have earned the long-term trust of iconic brands like Porsche, Adidas, and Philips. We are looking for a US-based Business Development Director with a comprehensive understanding of the digital agency landscape to lead our expansion in the US market, open new accounts, and drive revenue by demonstrating how our digital product solutions, cybersecurity, cloud, data/AI, and other services solve business challenges and deliver measurable value. You will be joining a global team across the US and Europe, collaborating closely with Solution Architects, Product Strategists, and Marketing to drive new business. You will represent a world-class engine where uncompromising quality is the default, backed by a global delivery team that delivers on the promises you make. market expansion & strategy: develop and execute outbound sales strategies to expand Infinum’s footprint in the US market, translating industry trends into actionable business opportunities pipeline management: manage the full sales cycle, using one’s own network, from lead generation to contract negotiation. Build and maintain a robust pipeline through strategic networking, market research, and targeted outreach consultative selling: act as a trusted advisor to prospective clients. Collaborate with internal technical and design teams to translate client requirements into viable digital product roadmaps and commercial proposals proposal development: lead the creation of high-quality proposals and pitch presentations that clearly articulate how Infinum helps clients achieve their desired outcomes and KPIs stakeholder management: cultivate long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers to encourage recurring business and referrals reporting & forecasting: maintain accurate records of sales activities and revenue forecasts. Provide management with data‑driven insights regarding market dynamics and operational efficiency brand representation: represent the company at industry conferences, events, and speaking engagements to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners travel: candidates may be required to travel to cities where clients reside, as appropriate industry experience: proven experience in Business Development within a digital agency, software development consultancy, or professional services environment. A deep understanding of digital services, design, and software development is required. We sell custom solutions and services, we’re not a SaaS company nor are we selling a set of pre‑defined solutions market expertise: demonstrated success in targeting, opening accounts, and closing significant deals within the US market communication skills: superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts, as well as creative solutions to executive‑level stakeholders strategic approach: ability to proactively identify client needs and mold them into successful solutions we can deliver collaboration: experience working in a cross‑functional environment, coordinating with creative, technical, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive client solutions The hiring process, explained 01 Application review We go through your application and supporting materials to get a sense of your background and how it fits with our current projects and team setup. 02 First interview You talk to the HR person leading you through the selection process. You get acquainted with Infinum, your potential future team and position, while we also get to know you. 03 Take‑home assignment Designed to show you the kind of tasks you will meet regularly and to give you a better insight into the position itself. It also gives us an insight into your skills and experience. 04 Technical interview You talk to Infinum US’s Managing Director, Business Development Director, and the HR person leading you through the selection process. You get to know Infinum, your potential future team, and position, while we also get the opportunity to ask you more specific questions. 05 Group Interview Usually, you talk to the Management, Team Lead, and an HR person. You get a deeper insight into the position and our expectations, while we get the opportunity to ask you more specific questions. 06 Offer If everything clicks – great! We’ll send over a detailed offer covering salary, vacation days, and all the perks and benefits of working at Infinum. 04 Next thing you know Next thing you know, your LinkedIn inbox is a goldmine of strategic partnerships, and you’re the first person US clients call when they have a billion-dollar idea. Tools we use Productive We use Productive to manage our sales pipeline, budget, and project management. It helps us have all the information in one place. Hubspot We use a set of Hubspot tools primarily for inbound marketing. LinkedIn Aside from creating a business network, we use LinkedIn Sales Navigator in our work. A great tool we use for finding business information about private and public companies. Google Workspace We use different tools for everything from collaboration to data analysis. Slack We use Slack for work and for fun. It’s our go‑to tool for keeping in touch, making quick decisions, and discussing the latest tech news both in the office and remotely. Zoom We often use Zoom to communicate with our clients and remote colleagues. Keynote We rely on Mac’s iWork set of tools to create top‑notch presentations. Figma Slides We use Figma Slides to design pitch decks that actually pop, making it easy for us to collaborate and show off our ideas with polished, interactive visuals. Data Studio Analyzing our funnel and marketing efforts is super easy with Data Studio. To ensure a fair and efficient process, Infinum uses AI and automated tools (such as Workable, LinkedIn, and Google Gemini) to assist recruiters in summarizing and ranking candidates based on job‑related criteria. While these tools provide data‑driven “match scores,” all final hiring decisions are made by our recruiting team.
