Director, Business Development (Remote - US) Be among the first 25 applicants. Overview ebbo is seeking a results‑oriented Director of Business Development who will be an integral member of our team. This is a sales role focused on generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. This is an individual contributor role and will not have direct reports. The ideal candidate is a strategic hunter across multiple sectors, with proven results in Retail, CPG, Hospitality, and Services. A background in loyalty, customer engagement, or monetization programs for brands is a plus. Duties and Responsibilities Prospect into companies to uncover business development opportunities Scope out solutions after listening to client objectives Utilize existing relationships to gain meetings and opportunities with key stakeholders Work with resellers or intermediaries to broaden our sales reach and network Collaborate with internal product, client services, creative, technology, and legal teams to develop the best possible solutions Present appropriate solutions to advance opportunities and close sales Negotiate deals, obtain internal deal sign‑offs, and work with legal and product teams to configure agreements and statements of work Win business and transition relationships post‑sale to client services, product, and technology teams Utilize Sales Management tools to track sales efforts, conversations, meetings, proposals, and contracts Travel is required – anticipated 15% of the time Skills and Experience 3-5+ years of proven sales success Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and winning large, strategic deals Experience selling customer loyalty/engagement/experience/monetization solutions is a big plus Highly resourceful, goal‑oriented self‑starter Strong interpersonal skills Excellent organization, initiative, follow‑up, and communication skills Tactful persistence with clients and not afraid of selling Patience for a sometimes‑longer sales cycle with detailed follow‑up Ability to articulate a strategic solution and deliver winning presentations Ability to quickly respond to opportunities and manage multiple priorities Demonstrated success selling to senior and C‑level executives Perks and Benefits Unlimited PTO, closing every Friday at 2pm (all year round) and a paid week off between Christmas and New Year's Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, Safe Harbor 401K plan with a 3% contribution from ebbo, 100% vested Annual bonus and merit increases DEI Program and Wellness Program with great prizes Annual training budget and in‑person collaboration opportunities for every team Opportunities for mentorship and growth (career trajectories for employees) Commission eligible in addition to base salary Base Salary The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$95,000.
