AI Operations Lead

Owning Mercury's internal knowledge infrastructure, the full-time AI Operations Lead will build and maintain a trusted context layer that captures and organizes company information, driving operational insights and facilitating AI functionality in a remote or onsite capacity. Key responsibilities Manage the knowledge infrastructure, ensuring accurate and useful information architecture and governance Design the knowledge layer by collaborating with AI Engineering to create schemas, automations, and validation workflows Lead the reporting layer development to convert shared context into operational insights for leadership and planning Required qualifications 5-8 years of experience in program or product operations, technical program management, or product management Strong systems design and knowledge architecture skills, capable of simplifying complex information Familiarity with technical systems, including APIs, data models, and tools like Linear and GitHub Hands-on experience using AI for workflows, automations, or agents, with an understanding of LLMs Ability to influence through strong judgment and clear communication in ambiguous environments
