An immediate opportunity is available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support students across multiple elementary schools in the Phoenix/Glendale area. Both full-time and part-time assignments are offered on a contract basis, with onsite positions beginning as soon as possible and extending through late May 2027.

Open positions include self-contained classroom and resource roles. Options are available for those skilled in providing targeted support to students with behavioral needs or for teachers well-versed in cross-categorical classrooms, particularly those with students in the mild intellectual disability (MID) cognitive range. Specific sites are seeking:

• Self-contained teacher for a behavior program (CPI certification preferred)
• Self-contained cross-category teachers for 2nd-grade students in the MID range
• Resource teachers for multiple elementary locations, with part-time roles eligible to combine for full-time hours

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Educator Certification
• Active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Experience in behavior programs and CPI certification highly valued for specific sites
• Ability to manage a diverse special education caseload
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school teams

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs targeting individual student needs
• Foster an inclusive, positive, and structured classroom environment
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff
• Track and communicate student progress through regular documentation and meetings
• Adapt instruction based on student data and best practices in special education
