Algoworks is looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst with 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, along with excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, Salesforce architects, developers, QA teams, and program leadership to understand business needs, translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, and support successful project delivery.

This role requires a client-facing professional who can work from the client's office in Jersey City, New Jersey, in a hybrid model and collaborate effectively with US-based business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, requirements, and priorities.
• Lead requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery discussions.
• Analyze existing Salesforce processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Salesforce architects and technical leads to ensure requirements are translated into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Provide functional expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Work with Salesforce administrators, developers, QA teams, Scrum Masters, and project/program managers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support solution validation, functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation activities.
• Participate in Salesforce roadmap discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a Salesforce functional subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance to business and delivery teams.
• Ensure Salesforce solutions align with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and project requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Salesforce Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with substantial experience in Salesforce Business Analysis.
• Strong functional knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Experience gathering business requirements, documenting functional specifications, and translating business needs into Salesforce solutions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, standard functionality, configuration, automation, workflows, security, and data models.
• Good understanding of Salesforce administration capabilities and the ability to distinguish standard platform functionality from customization requirements.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce implementation methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Certifications

Salesforce certifications are preferred. Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will have an advantage:

Client-Facing & Location Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work from the client's office in Jersey City, New Jersey, under a hybrid work arrangement.
• Must be comfortable working directly with US-based business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong professional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment visa sponsorship for this position.
• Occasional travel may be required based on client or project needs.
