Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machinists for projects located in or around Michigan City, IN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $35-$40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Set up and operate manual lathes and machining equipment
Set up and operate CNC equipment as required
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Machine parts to precise tolerances and dimensions
Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy
Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Follow production schedules and work instructions
Requirements:
Previous experience operating and setting up manual lathes
Experience with CNC equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Proficiency using micrometers and other precision measuring tools
Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality control procedures
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Requirements
(Any Info you can find in the Intake Box—if no requirements in the intake, blank is acceptable)
Minimum of 3 years in the trade field
Must own basic Hand Tools
Must wear proper PPE
