This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our counselors to maintain a healthy work-life balance while providing vital support to our clients. Team members typically work regular hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for our elderly residents to identify their specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to seniors coping with aging-related challenges and life transitions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement effective, comprehensive care plans that enhance our residents’ quality of life.

• Educate families and staff members on effective strategies for improving mental well-being and emotional health among elderly clients.

• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling services to clients and their families as they confront end-of-life issues.

The primary focus of this role is to support seniors, including those experiencing loss, significant life transitions, and mental health disorders. Our clients may present with varying challenges, from depression and anxiety to memory loss and behavioral changes. You will interact frequently with family members, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to assure a holistic approach to care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution or university.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is required.

• Four years of recent experience in geriatric mental health services, with a focus on counseling strategies that effectively address the needs of older adults.

Compensation and Benefits\n
