Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Apparel Production Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the production process from order placement to delivery, ensuring that we meet our milestones and deliver high-quality products on time. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: Production Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams and overseas vendors to ensure seamless execution throughout the entire product lifecycle. Design Translation: Translate design concepts into garment form. Sample Management: Request and track the submission of strike offs, handlooms, lab dips, prototypes, and other samples during the development stages. Production Oversight: Act as the point person for all production-related activities from vendors, support and monitor WIP milestones, and drive on-time delivery of quality products. Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with factories and internal teams to address production issues and ensure adherence to our submission processes and procedures. PLM System Management: Work with our internal PLM system to provide full visibility and collaboration on development. Approval Process: Assist in driving the PP approval process to meet on-time delivery goals. Trim Development: Support garment trim development to meet federal and retailer requirements. QualificationsRequirements: 3+ years of experience in apparel production and manufacturing. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks. Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and prioritizing workloads. Knowledge of T&A (Time & Action) Calendar and WIP (Work in Progress) Management. Understanding of garment manufacturing processes, fabrication, trim, and print techniques. Production Management: Collaborate with overseas factories to ensure adherence to our development processes. Work closely with the design team to interpret and execute concept designs. Coordinate production issues to ensure timely delivery. Use our internal PLM system to provide development visibility. Support sample tracking and compliance adherence. Production Sample Management: Manage daily submissions to licensor partners. Coordinate and distribute samples to the sales team.
