Bookkeeper (Part-Time)

Bookkeeper (Part-Time) | Direct Hire | Los Angeles, CA

We are partnering with a small, established real estate company seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in a long-term, direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a close-knit office environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and has experience supporting commercial and residential real estate operations.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Century City) - 100% Onsite

Schedule: Approximately 30-36 hours/week during training, transitioning to approximately 30 hours/week thereafter

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM.

Compensation: $33-37/hour, with flexibility up to $40/hour for the right candidate

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience preferred
• Real estate or property management experience required
• Experience with CAM reconciliations required
• Strong understanding of leases, contracts, and related documentation
• Payroll experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt and work effectively in a small office environment
• Experience with Sage 300 is a plus, but not required
• Strong ERP system experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• High-volume Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
• CAM reconciliations
• Payroll processing
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Partner with an external CPA for month-end close and tax preparation
• Lease administration and agreement management
• Review and interpret insurance policies related to property operations
• General bookkeeping and administrative support
