Job Title SUPERVISING REGISTERED NURSE III, CF – SOLANO STATE PRISON California Correctional Health Care Services (CDCR/CCHCS) Classification: SUPERVISING REGISTERED NURSE III, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY Salary: $12,179.00 – $15,253.00 per month (minimum salary for new to state candidates) Location: California State Prison Solano, Vacaville, CA (in office) Term: 12‑month limited term (may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent) Responsibilities Under the direction of the Chief Nurse Executive (CNE), oversee daily operations of the correctional facility nursing services program. Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of subordinate supervisors, nurses, and other assigned staff. Receive, disseminate, and implement policies and procedures; apply supervisory rules and principles. Assist in the resolution of labor relations issues and set goals for self and others. Ensure continuity of quality patient care and implement the Complete Care Model. Implement an effective training and competency validation program for nursing services. Minimum Qualifications Current license issued by the State of California, Board of Registered Nursing. One of the following experience pathways:

• One year as a Supervising Registered Nurse II, Correctional Facility in California state service.
• Three years as a Supervising Registered Nurse I, Correctional Facility in California state service.
• Four years of registered nursing experience (within the last ten years) in a licensed general acute care hospital, including at least two years in an administrative or supervisory capacity; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master’s can substitute for one year of hospital experience.
