Store Manager in Training Oxnard/Ventura

At CVS Health®, the Store Manager In Training (SMIT) role is a development focused program designed to prepare you for a future Store Manager position. The program lasts 16 weeks and includes self‑paced, collaborative training with virtual and hands‑on learning experiences. Responsibilities As a SMIT, you will: Actively engage with your leader in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion. Support the store as a member of the management team and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in support of the company’s purpose of "helping people on their path to better health." Perform customer care duties to provide high levels of service. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; a four‑year college degree preferred or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree. Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor. Ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores located within the designated market. Willingness to accept promotion to Store Manager at any location in the designated market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Ability to relocate within the designated market if required. Pay & Benefits Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40 Time Type: Full time Pay Range: $18.50 – $28.67 per hour (or equivalent full‑time salary) based on experience, education, geography and other factors.
