Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct assessments and develop integrated care plans tailored to individual client needs, ensuring a collaborative approach in the management of treatment goals.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, to support clients experiencing severe emotional disorders or major mental illness.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and strategies for enhancing client care while contributing to team goals.

• Assist clients in navigating the healthcare system, connecting them with necessary resources and services in a timely manner.

• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, effectively managing high-stress situations while ensuring client safety and emotional support.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with agency policies and ethical standards.

• Provide ongoing evaluations and modifications to treatment plans based on client feedback and outcome measures.

• Participate in the development of evidence-based practices that improve client outcomes and agency service delivery through active involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on clients within our Detox Center, consisting of individuals who are facing severe mental health issues, particularly those related to substance use. Many of our clients come from marginalized communities, experiencing both societal and systemic barriers to care. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will play a critical role in empowering these individuals by providing empathetic support, helping them navigate their recovery journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications\n

• A valid LCSW license to practice in New York State.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field; a Master’s Degree is preferred.

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health settings, with a focus on crisis intervention and recovery-oriented care.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health assessments and treatment modalities, specifically for populations dealing with severe emotional and psychological challenges.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in managing caseloads and clinical documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
