Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide effective individual and couples therapy that draws upon evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.
• Establish and track therapeutic goals in collaboration with your clients, ensuring they are met through regular progress evaluations.
• Engage in regular consultation with colleagues and supervisors to enhance clinical skills and share insights.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions and treatment progress, ensuring compliance with ethical and professional standards.
• Participate actively in community outreach efforts to educate the public about mental health and wellness, demonstrating our organization’s commitment to service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adults and children/adolescents, providing culturally competent care tailored to their unique needs. Our diverse client population includes those seeking support for a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and life transitions. Your role is crucial in creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and personal growth for each individual.

Qualifications

• A valid LMFT license in the state of Oregon is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential; a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline will enhance your candidacy.
• Demonstrated experience working with both adult and child/adolescent populations is highly desirable.
• A strong foundation in both individual and couples therapy techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in team-based practice and those who are skilled in conducting therapy utilizing telehealth technologies will be given preference. Familiarity with specific therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), is beneficial as well.

Compensation and Benefits
