While primarily based online, there may be occasions for in-person collaboration with school faculty and staff to address student crises, community events, or parent-teacher meetings. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments using interviews, observations, and medical record reviews to evaluate students’ emotional, social, and environmental factors that impact their learning and recovery.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing topics such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment challenges.

• Develop collaborative treatment plans in conjunction with educators and healthcare providers to incorporate psychosocial strategies addressing student needs.

• Assist families in navigating community resources, such as mental health support services, educational programs, and specialized care options.
\n
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to advocate for students' mental health needs as part of their educational plan.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in school-based mental health services and contribute to staff training initiatives.

• Facilitate smooth transitions for students moving from school to home or other care settings during discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve K-12 students facing various psychological and social challenges. This includes supporting individuals coping with trauma, familial issues, social anxiety, learning difficulties, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
