Accountant

Accountant FLSA Status for this position is Full time Hourly Reports directly to the Controller First Call Hospitality, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our team in Fargo, ND. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing our financial records, ensuring accuracy, and supporting our company's financial health through thorough bookkeeping and accounting practices. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including as a back-up for accounts payable.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Maintain bank account activity files; Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations.
• Process payroll on a weekly basis; timekeeping and related inquiries from field personnel

Requirements

• Proven experience as an accountant or in a related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree in Accounting or related hotel field experience is preferred.
