If you have experience selling or supporting a sales team responsible for Core and Service Assurance solutions, and you have built and maintained relationships with operators, this role may be for you. As a sales director, you will secure short‑ and long‑term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development and lead efforts to make our customers successful. What you will do Join a team with established relationships at a large tier 1 customer. Help transform the way the customer builds and manages advanced data networking services using big‑data analytics, deep networking expertise, and leading‑edge computing technologies. Access Ericsson’s commercially ready 5G portfolio. Position and sell Core and Service Assurance solutions. Identify critical customer needs through consultative engagement to generate sales opportunities. Conduct product/solution presentations and demonstrations to articulate value propositions. Leverage Key Account Manager resources (Marketing, Technical Support), local market resources, and business units at headquarters, and potentially external partners. Participate in the VP & KAM team in developing business plans and new sales initiatives. Create, maintain, and leverage trust‑based relationships with relevant customer interfaces. Show thought leadership in communication evolution, virtualization, cloud, and analytics. The skills you bring Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, or Telecommunication) or MBA (Master in Business Administration or similar). Experience selling Ericsson’s Core and Assurance solutions. Minimum two years of project execution and delivery experience. Strong sales and delivery experience. Experience with SDN, NFV, and cloud environments. Understanding of mobile technologies (3G, 4G/LTE, 5G). Good understanding of cloud‑native 5G core. Experience with IMS, analytics, inventory management, network management, and network & service orchestration is a big plus. Why join Ericsson? Compensation and Benefits Pay Washington: $121,000–$158,550 Sales incentive plan offers additional compensation based on performance of the business against objectives, individual performance, and incentive targets. Eligibility and proration rules apply. Your Financial Security 401(k) plan with automatic 3% company contribution and matching contributions up to 4%.
