Full Charge Bookkeeper

The Role TriCircle is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to oversee the organization's financial operations. The Full Charge Bookkeeper is a part-time, on-site (hybrid flexibility is available) role based in Wallingford, CT, responsible for managing day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. Daily responsibilities will include bank reconciliations, monitoring cash flow, supporting budget preparation, and providing financial reports to leadership for decision-making. The role collaborates closely with the Executive Director and Office Manager to ensure accurate financial tracking of grants, donations, and expenses. The ideal candidate will be skilled in accounting and/or financial reporting and have experience with grant reporting and financial activity related to nonprofit organizations. What You'll Do Verify required documentation and maintain accurate financial records and ledger in QuickBooks. Maintain contracts and financial records pertaining to subcontractors and/or part-time employees and assist with payroll as needed. Post State and Federal requirements. Manage financial activity related to the credentialing of new clinicians or insurances. Processing invoices, bills, bank deposits, and payments. Evaluating and monitoring costs of third party services. Maintaining and installing accounting software and file backup. Post daily financial transactions to QuickBooks and reconciling accounts. Prepare monthly financial statements and Profit and Loss reports. Other activities related to financial operations as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field. Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or similar role. Proven track record of maintaining accurate financial records and producing financial reports. Strong understanding of QuickBooks. Excellent communication and time management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with accounting or financial operations within a nonprofit organization. Proficiency with other software and technology including Excel, Word, Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets. TriCircle is an equal opportunity employer.
